WINONA LAKE – Greg Miller announced Wednesday that he is leaving Grace to accept the men’s basketball head coach position at Cincinnati Christian University.
Miller has been an assistant on the Lancers’ sidelines since 2014. He will finish up working with Grace through the NCCAA National Championships this week before transitioning to his new job in Cincinnati.
"I am beyond thankful to Chad Briscoe, Coach Kessler and Coach Moore for the time that I got to spend at Grace College. They have each challenged me and prepared me for this step, and I am grateful for that," Miller said. "The last seven years I have spent at Grace have been by far the best part of my life to this point. I look forward to taking the next step and starting a program of my own at CCU. I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I know that I have learned from the best, and I will always be a Lancer."
Miller was an All-American forward for the Lancers from 2010-14. He finished his career with 1,873 points which is the 11th-most in program history. Additionally, his 1,052 rebounds ranks No. 8 all-time for the Lancers.
Miller’s playing days saw Grace reach the NAIA National Championships three times, including a run to the NAIA Final Four in 2013. The Lancers were the NCCAA national runners-up during Miller’s senior season in 2013-14.
