Fletchers Celebrating 60 Years Together

Charles and Elaine Swango Fletcher were high school sweethearts, both graduating from Fowler High School.
They were married March 22, 1957, in Terre Haute, by the Rev. P.B. Smith.
In 1960 they moved to Etna Green, where Charles worked at R.R. Donnelley and Sons until he retired in 1998.
Elaine worked at Poulson Ford for years.
They have four children: Debra (husband Steve) Disher, Bourbon; Linda (husband Kirk) Swaidner, Winona Lake; Charles Jr., Bourbon; and Jim, Etna Green.
They have seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
All the family will attend the morning worship service Sunday at Etna Green United Methodist Church. A family dinner will follow.
