Bethel Advances In NAIA Tourney With 104-78 Win

Gage Ott had a game-high 19 points for the Pilots, with Triton alum Clay Yeo, along with Paul Foreman and Caleb Oetjen, adding 15 points each. Former Warsaw Tiger Jordyn Coon had 14, and Ryan Wassink tossed in 10 points in the winning cause.
Former Triton Trojan Tanner Shepherd scored five points, and Tippecanoe Valley alum Nick Kindig had four points for Bethel. Freshman and Manchester alum Chase Fierstos played about a minute and did not score.
Bethel (30-4) advanced to today’s second round and will play Eastern Oregon at 6:45 p.m. in Keeter Gymnasium. Eastern Oregon came back from a 17-point deficit to beat Indiana-Southeast and advance to today’s matchup with the top-seeded Pilots.
