They are the parents of four children: Steve (spouse Shelly) Payne, Faribault, Minn.; Susan (spouse Paul) Gilchrist, Indianapolis; Sandy (spouse Justin) Apotheker, Denver, Colo.; and Sherry (spouse Tom) Figura, Indianapolis. They also have 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
They are both retired from Metcalf and Payne PHC (now Metcalf, Payne & Bell) after 40 years of service.
