She was born Nov. 20, 1942, in Marshall County, to Claude and Ula Holderead Davis. She has been a resident of the Bourbon and Etna Green area all her life. She was a graduate of Bourbon High School in 1960. She had worked in trailer factories, Mallard at Etna Green and Newmar Co., which she retired from.
She was a member of Bourbon American Legion Post 424 Ladies Auxiliary, Sr. and Jr. ONO club of Etna Green, and Wednesday ladies euchre club. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to tropical destinations like Mexico, Bora Bora, Dominican Republic and Aruba.
On June 19, 1960, she married the love of her life, Noble Kintzel, with whom she made a wonderful life of happiness.
He survives along with two daughters, Teresa (spouse Steve) Jackson, Mentone, and Paula Johnson, Etna Green. Also surviving are four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bonnie Barrett, Tippecanoe, and Harriet Brown, Warsaw.
She was preceded by her parents; a sister, Sarah French; and three brothers: Claude “Red” Davis, Chuck Davis and Donnie Davis.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, with burial following in Etna Green Cemetery.
