By Staff Report-

Warsaw Community School registration is now open for the 2017-18 school year.

This year the entire registration process is online.

If a parent or guardian would still like to complete the registration process in person or to visit a school, WCS is hosting optional in-building registration hours:

Those hours are: 3 to 7 p.m., July 26; noon to 7 p.m., July 27; and 8 a.m. to noon, July 28.

Any parent wanting to pay for textbook rental fees via cash or set up a payment plan will need to attend registration on one of those dates.

To complete a registration online, a valid email address is necessary. Free email accounts can be set up at https://www.google.com/gmail/about/.

Online registration steps:

• Sign in to the PowerSchool parent portal at https://warsawschools.powerschool.com.

• Select the student you wish to register along the top.

• Select the InfoSnap student registration icon on the left-hand menu for returning student registration.

• Agree to the terms and conditions.

• Click begin forms.

• Once the process for one student is completed, remaining students can be registered. Information will be copied from the first student registration so it doesn’t have to be entered again.

If a parent or guardian is unable to recover their PowerSchool Parent log-on using the log-in page’s built-in functionality, contact WCS Tech Support at 574-371-5088.

To complete registration, a parent or guardian will receive additional emails to:

• Pay textbook rental fees.

• Complete health information.

• Apply for free or reduced lunches and/or put money into a child’s lunch account.

• Sign up for insurance for a student’s 1:1 iPad.

Completing these steps finalizes the registration process.

For students new to the district, a parent or guardian will access new student registration at https://secure.infosnap.com/family/gosnap.aspx?action=10857&culture=en.

In Spanish, visit https://secure.infosnap.com/family/gosnap.aspx?action=10857&culture=es.

For questions regarding how to apply for an out-of-district or within district transfer, call the WCS Central Office at 574-371-5093.
