County Jail Bookings

 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 12:34 p.m. Tuesday – Shelly Rae Whitaker, 54, of 1605 E. Clark St., Warsaw, arrested on a civil warrant. Bond: $700.

• 10:29 p.m. Tuesday – Ryan Scott Hernandez, 36, of 1816 Hepler Drive, #M7, Warsaw, arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond: $300.

• 1:15 a.m. today – Michael Shawn Combs, 27, of 408 Columbia St., #5, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $257.46.

• 1:27 a.m. today – Kapen Lee Eherenman, 22, of 2441 W. CR 250S, Warsaw. arrested for criminal mischief. Bond: $600.



Property Damage Accidents

• 5:18 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Ind. 14 and CR 700E, Warsaw. Vehicle hit deer. Driver: Rebecca Williams, 39, Wabash. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 7:48 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Lake City Highway and East Center Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Stoney Hartle, 22, Tucker Street, Mentone; Nicole Miller, 33, Deerfield Path, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated. 

• 11:31 a.m. Tuesday – 1500 Husky Trail, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Wisk Derifond, 28, Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw; Billey Shepherd, 68, Cedar Road, Bourbon. Damage: $2,500 to  $5,000. WPD.



Incidents 

• 9:03 a.m. Tuesday – A burglary attempt was reported in the 2500 block of Center Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

• 11:57 a.m. Tuesday – A lost debit card was turned into to police in the 1300 block of Old Colony Road, Warsaw. WPD.

• 2:22 p.m. Tuesday – A fraud was reported in the 5600 block of CR 825E, North Webster. North Webster Police Department investigated.

• 5:08 p.m. Tuesday – A person reported a theft of a firearm in the 300 block of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:27 p.m. Tuesday – Police placed a person on an emergency mental hold in the 2200 block of North Pointe Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
