“Created by God, built for a purpose” is the theme of the Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible School at New Life Christian Church and World Outreach.

Children ages 4 (before June 26) through 12 are invited to learn — through stories, songs, crafts, snacks and games —how they are crafted by God.

VBS will be from 6-8:30 each night. An optional dinner for $1 a plate will be available from 5-6 p.m.

To sign up for VBS, or for more information, call 574-269-5851.

The church is at 744 S. CR 325E, Warsaw.

Silver Lake Churches, June 26-30

SILVER LAKE — The Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible School will be hosted by Silver Lake area churches next week.

The VBS uses a variety of activities to teach children that God made them for a purpose. Bible-learning activities, songs, teamwork-building games, treats and Bible adventures are planned. Kids will also be able to test “Sciency Fun Gizmos” they can take home and play with all summer, and will learn to look for evidence of God all around them.

VBS will be from 6 to 8:30 each evening for kids in preschool through fifth grade. Each day will conclude with the Funshop Finale so kids can try living what they’ve learned. Family and friends are invited to a special finale at 7:50 p.m. June 30.

Kids who attend the VBS may donate to a missions effort to fund water purifiers for clean water for families in Haiti.

Maker Fun Factory will meet in the Silver Lake Lions Building. There is no cost to attend. For more information, call Sarah Shepherd at 260-578-5167.
