Post 253 Donates To Riley Fund In Memory Of Mike Elwood

The donation was made in memory of past American Legion member Mike Elwood, who died after battling cancer.
The donation was delivered by motorcycle riders from North Webster to the Community Foundation office in downtown Warsaw.
The donation represented proceeds from the group’s 2016 annual motorcycle ride, which takes place on the last Saturday in August. This August will be the group’s fifth annual ride.
Members of the public are invited to participate in the August 2017 ride.
Call American Legion Post 253 at 574-834-4297 to sign up for the ride.
The KC Riley Kids Fund is a component fund of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
The fund provides direct support to Riley Children’s Hospital, a nonprofit hospital, and it provides financial assistance to Kosciusko County families who have a child being treated at Riley.
