NEW CASTLE – Judi Warren, a Warsaw Community High School alum, was named an at-large member of the Indiana Basketball Hall Of Fame’s Executive Committee Thursday.

Warren, a 2002 Hall inductee, was elevated from the organization’s board of directors. She was Indiana’s inaugural Miss Basketball after leading Warsaw to the 1976 IHSAA girls state championship, Warren is also a Franklin College graduate. A retired teacher and coach, spending time at South Dearborn, Maconoquah and Carmel high schools, she resides in Carmel.

Other board officers elected Thursday were Steve Witty, president; Jerry Pierson, executive vice-president; Ray Pavy, treasurer; and Denny Brady, secretary.
