Wednesday Afternoon Ladies Bridge

The group got together June 7 at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club. Winners were Jean Cowan and Sue Holloway.



Wednesday Night Bridge Group

The group continued its season high of eight tables on  June 14.

Winners were Tom Anderson, John Stewart, Sara Austin, Carol Pringle, Nanette Newland, Rosalee Spear, Annette Magner, Dorothy Herring, Grant Magner and Tony Frazzetta.

Janet and John Wagley are hostess and host for June.



Pierceton Senior Citizens Club

PIERCETON — All senior citizens in the Pierceton area are invited to the monthly meeting of the Pierceton Senior Citizens Club on Monday.

A carry-in dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Caleb Silcott will provide musical entertainment.



Four Seasons Ladies Bridge

The group met June 14 at the Great Wall with Nanette Newland as hostess.

Winners were Sharon Holtz, Judy Stewart, Virginia Horn and Erma Swank.



Genealogy Group

The Genealogy Group will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Old Jail Museum Library, 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw.

People are invited to join the group to discuss land records, plat maps and property deeds for Kosciusko and other Indiana counties.

Pizza King Bridge Group

The Pizza King bridge group met June 15 with Dian Cartwright as hostess. Winners were Betty Walston, Sharon Tuttle and Joyce Latta.

All bridge players are welcome to come and play at 10 a.m. Thursdays. For more information, call 574-269-7336.

Singles Meeting Friends

Fourteen people attended this week’s meeting.

Those present included a guest, Vivian, and a couple of people who hadn’t been to a meeting for a while.

The group reports that Betty is doing well after her surgery.

After the meeting, some people played a new game while others played euchre.

Singles Meeting Friends meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the upstairs dining room at Martin’s Super Market.



North Webster Community Center SPEC

NORTH WEBSTER — The Senior Prime Enrichment Center reported recent bridge results.

On June 15, winners were Kay Sutton, first, and Andrea Overmyer, second.
