Singer-Songwriter At Trinity June 25

Dan Holmes will be at Trinity United Methodist Church June 25 in the 9 a.m. service.

Holmes is an "old school” singer/songwriter bringing a Christian message of hope. Armed with an acoustic guitar, he creates music that celebrates what God is doing in, for and through believers.



Souls Harbor Trio At Dutchtown Saturday

Souls Harbor trio from Milan, Mich., will present a concert at Dutchtown Brethren Church at 7 p.m. Saturday.

This southern gospel vocal group will be featured at Dollywood’s Harvest Fest this October, in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.  

No tickets are required for Saturday’s concert.  A freewill offering will be collected for the group.  Everyone is invited.

The church is at county roads 300N and 400E, just east of Chapman Lake.



Missionary Speaking Sunday At Talma UMC

ROCHESTER —  Missionary Michael Smith from Estonia will bring the Father’s Day message at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Talma United Methodist Church.

Smith is a 1982 graduate of Triton High School.

The church is at 6872 N. Ind. 25, Rochester. Everyone is welcome.



40-Hour Devotion Planned At Sacred Heart

A 40-hour devotion will begin at 8 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church.

An adoration sign-up sheet with half-hour time slots is in the church’s gathering space. The weekend Mass preacher will be Monsignor Bernard Galic.

A Corpus Christi procession is planned after the 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, with closing to follow.

The devotion will be completed with a carry-in meal in the gym. A sign-up sheet for the meal is in the gathering space.

The church is at 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw.



Encompass World Partners Meeting July 26

 The Grace Trust Inc., dba Encompass World Partners, will have its annual corporation meeting at 11:45 a.m. July 26.

The meeting will be at Grace Community Church of Fremont, 900 Smith Road, Fremont, Ohio. It is in conjunction with the Access 2017 Conference of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches.

All corporation members of The Grace Trust Inc. are encouraged to participate.

Steadfast Quartet Sunday In Pierceton

PIERCETON — A free gospel concert by The Steadfast Quartet of Grand Rapids, Mich., will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, Pierceton.

The concert is a part of a special "Old Fashioned Sunday." A picnic will follow, along with games for the entire family. Everyone is welcome.

First Baptist Church is at 208 W. Market St., Pierceton.



Community Meal Tuesday At Sacred Heart

A community meal is planned from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday  in the Sacred Heart Church gym.

This month’s meal will feature Coney dogs, sloppy joes, baked beans, veggie dippers, fresh watermelon and a variety of desserts. There is no charge for the meal, and everyone is welcome.

Bluegrass, Southern Gospel Event Saturday

CLAYPOOL — Trinity River Band and the Dotsons will be  in concert Saturday at First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County.

Trinity River Band will celebrate its 10th anniversary as a one-family bluegrass band in 2017.

The Dotsons are in the 19th year of singing and writing southern gospel songs.

This concert will feature the release of their new CD, “Who Will Tell Them.”

The concert begins at 6 p.m.

The church is on CR 700S, Claypool.



Garage Sale At New Harvest Begins Today

A garage sale is planned today through Saturday at New Harvest Church of the Nazarene.

The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Friday and will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday.

The church is at 1654 Fisher Ave. (Ind. 15S), just past the Rozella Road stoplight.



Gospel Echoes Singer To Be At Calvary UMC

SYRACUSE — Nicole Fullmer, an Ohio native who works with Gospel Echoes, will share her life experiences in stories and song.

Fullmer will be featured in the informal public meeting series “Calvary Connects” at 6:30 p.m. June 28 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 801 S. Huntington St.

The event will be in the church parlor.
