Family Celebration Planned For Donkerses' 45th Anniversary

Ron Donkers and the former Patty Rose were married July 1, 1972, at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka, Winona, Minn., by Bill Rose.
Patty owned and managed the Baskin-Robbins in downtown Warsaw and worked in real estate and the retail sector prior to her retirement.
Ron began his career with Air Products and Chemicals Inc., then joined Zimmer Orthopaedics in 1978, working with engineers and surgeons on the design and manufacture of new products.
Since their retirement, the Donkerses are active with the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club, Sacred Heart Catholic Church and many other area organizations.
Their children are Tim (Brooke) Donkers, North Bellmore, N.Y.; Susan Donkers (fiance John Franklin), Greenville, S.C.; and Tom (Christina) Donkers, Carmel. They have one grandchild, Allyson Donkers.
The couple will celebrate their anniversary with their children at their home on Winona Lake.
