On Oct. 4, 1946, she was born in Dumas County, Ark., to Fred Allen and Gertrude Ledbetter Smith. She was united in marriage to David Michael Cook on Oct. 19, 1973, in Warsaw. He survives.
Living most of her life in Kosciusko County, Charlene was retired from Zimmer Inc. after 12 years of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and brain teasers. She is best remembered for being a great mom.
She is survived by her husband, David Michael Cook, Warsaw; daughter, Heather Cook Jagger, Warsaw; grandson, Christopher Jagger, North Manchester; sister, Patricia Raber, Warsaw; niece, Danielle Raber, Warsaw; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Christopher and Tina Cook, Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
