FORT WAYNE — Steven Earl Bruner, 76, formerly from Warsaw, passed away of natural causes at 6:30 p.m. May 27, 2017, at Bethlehem Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne. 
He was born March 3, 1941, to Earl and Margaret Bowser Bruner in Mentone.
He was a veteran from the Korean War 7th Infantry Division, where he was an MP. He later worked in the Warsaw Police Department as an officer and later retired from RR Donnelley.
He loved to travel and take photographs and watch nature from his window.
He is survived by his only child, Kristin (spouse Darrell) Shriver, daughter of former spouse Bonita Bruner, and his beloved grandson, Noah, Akron; and his brother, Dan, (spouse Tammy) Bruner, Greenwood. He also is survived by his friend/partner Diane Moser. 
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
No services are planned. He will be put to rest at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Marion.
Siler Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, was entrusted with arrangements.
