 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.

• 4:16 a.m. Thursday – Shawn Wayne Miller, 30, New Paris, arrested for possession of syringe for a legend drug, possession of paraphernalia, carrying a handgun without a licence, possession of narcotic, possession of meth, and  possession of marijuana. Bond: $10,250.

• 3:07 p.m. Thursday – Brandon Derrick Carr, 31, of E. Excalibur Place, Cromwell. arrested for possession of meth. Bond: $5,250. 

• 3:10 p.m. Thursday – Hannah Lynn Rogers, 31, of 102 W. Noah Street, Claypool, arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond: $600.

•3:57 p.m. Thursday – Cary Duane Walls, 44, of 1906 Sandcastle Drive, Warsaw, arrested for a parole violation. No bond set. 

• 5:41 p.m. Thursday – Sean Michael Jayne, 28, of 305 E. Main Street #B, Silver Lake, arrested for possession of meth. Bond: $5,250.

• 8:13 p.m. Thursday – Charles David Shepherd Jr., 28, Mentone,  arrested for resisting law enforcement and theft. Bond: $1,350. 

•11:13 p.m. Thursday – Brandon Markel Zumbrun, 36, Kimmel, arrested for failure to pay. Bond: $464.50.

•2:43 a.m. Thursday – Jordan Derric Yoder, 23, Bristol, arrested for possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance, and carrying a handgun without a licence. Bond: $5,250.

• 1:50 a.m. today – Samantha Lynn Lackey, 19, Goshen, arrested for possession of meth, possession of a narcotic, dealing a narcotic, dealing meth, visiting a common nuisance, two counts of failure to pay, refusing to identify self to law enforcement, possession of paraphernalia, and failure to appear. Bond: $10.733. 

• 2:03 a.m. today – Anna Elizabeth Warner, 26, Elkhart, arrested for possession of meth, maintaining  a common nuisance. Bond: $5,250.





Property Damage Accidents

• 12:14 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Southshore Drive and Ind. 13, Syracuse. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Timothy Woodward, 50, CR 175E, North Manchester; Martinlee Johnson, 54,  White Pigeon, Mich. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Syracuse Police Department investigated. 

• 1:08 p.m. Thursday – 119 E. Canal Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Rebecca Clark, 41, Rochester Street, Akron; Preston Sipple. 17, Stratford Drive, Winona Lake. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated. 

• 5;22 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of 2211 E. Center Street. Hit-skip on parked vehicle registered to Sandra Vera, West Street, Akron. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.





Incidents 

• 8:20 a.m. Thursday – A person found  a bicycle in the  300 block of North Indiana and Canal streets, and turned it into police.  Warsaw. WPD.

 • 2:08 p.m. Thursday  – A person found a laptop computer in  the 300 block of North Main Street, North Webster, and turned it into police.  North Webster Police Department investigated.
