Bookings

The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 11:37 p.m. Tuesday – Jason Weisser, 34, of 709 W. North St., Syracuse, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $529.

• 12:04 p.m. Tuesday – Nicole Helman, 36, of 8589 E. Bond St. North Webster, arrested for failure to stop after an accident. Bond: $600. 

• 4:23 p.m. Tuesday – Lindsay Clare Krieg, 21. of 102 N. Main St., Sidney, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $600. 

• 5:33 p.m. Tuesday – Lacey Danielle McFall, 32, Shipshewana,   arrested for failure to appear. No bond set. 

• 6:53 p.m. Tuesday – Jenna Niblick, 31, Fort Wayne, arrested for theft, possession of meth, aiding/causing/inducing a misdemeanor, and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $5,250.

• 7:15 p.m. Tuesday –  Charles Pettigrew, 39, Fort Wayne, arrested for possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia, criminal mischief and theft. Bond: $5,250.

• 7:27 p.m. Tuesday – Tayon Francel Wendell, 33, Fort Wayne, arrested for failure to pay. Bond: $318.

• 7:33 p.m. Tuesday – Leann Udora Harris, 25, of 3650 E. CR 700S, Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $600.

• 8:10 p.m. Tuesday – James Douglas Cable, 45, of 730 Center ?St., Warsaw, arrested for probation violation and theft. Bond: $11,000.

• 9:12 p.m. Tuesday – Robert Wayne Lonjin, 36, of 10090 N. Turkey Creek Road, #8, Syracuse, arrested for possession of a narcotic and possession of a controlled substance. Bond: $400.



Incidents 

• 9:40 a.m. Tuesday – A person stole money from a vending machine in the 7400 block of East Old 30, Pierceton. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated. 

• 11:01 a.m. Tuesday – A person   reported a fraud in the 200 block of West Main Street, Warsaw. KCSD. 

• 3:57 p.m. Tuesday – A person reported vandalism to a padlock, in the 600 block of West Market Street, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.  

• 5:11 p.m. Tuesday – Police responded to a report of a person making suicide threats in the 600 block of North Parker Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Lehman Receives 8-Year Sentence For Conspiracy To Commit Murder
ALBION - For his involvement in the murder of Laurel Jean Mitchell in 1975, John W. Lehman, 69, Auburn, was sentenced Friday to eight years in the Indiana Department of Corrections on the charge of conspiracy to commit murder, a Class A felony.
