Kaleena M. Briar and Nathanial Freeman were united in marriage July 1, 2017, in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Cambridge City. Father John Hall performed the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kent and Jane Briar, Warsaw. The groom is the son of Marty and Janet Freeman, Mishawaka.

Maid of honor was Meredith Arn, Van Wert, Ohio. Bridesmaids were Allison Visner, Phoenix, Ariz.; Kristina Quiroz, Warsaw; Hilary Arn, Van Wert; Christa Briar, Warsaw; and Heather Mann, Lawrenceburg.

Best man was Zach Melching, Mishawaka. Groomsmen were Chris Miller, Avon; Mike Reed and Jake Walters, both of South Bend; and Judd Troeger and Mike Shidler, both of Mishawaka.

Patrick Briar, Warsaw, and Ben Freeman, Mishawaka, served as ushers.

A reception at 4th Floor Blues Club, Richmond, followed the ceremony.

The bride is perfusionist at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Mo. She graduated in 2008 from Warsaw Community High School; in 2013 from Indiana University South Bend with a bachelor’s degree in biology; and in 2016 from Midwest University, Glendale, Ariz., with a Master of Science in cardiovascular science.

The groom is sales manager at Win Publishing, Springfield. He graduated in 2007 from Penn High School, Mishawaka, and in 2012 from Ivy Tech with an Associate of Applied Science in automotive technology.

Following a wedding trip to Riu Palace, Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple are at home in Springfield.
