The Beaman Home has been providing essential services to domestic violence victims living in Kosciusko, Marshall and Fulton Counties since 1985.

Prior to having the technology and security features available on the market today, the location of the shelter was considered confidential for the security and safety of terrified victims and their children fleeing their abuser, according to a news release from the Beaman Home.

Most of the people who sought safe-haven in the emergency shelter came by way of local law enforcement departments with whom Beaman Home has good working relationships. However, with the opening of the new secured facility, the Beaman Home Shelter and Outreach Center, the agency seeks to encourage more victims to contact Beaman Home directly through the 24/7 crisis hotline.

Eagle Outdoor Advertising helped get the newly created billboard and message out to the public. Check out the new billboard located at the corner of Bronson Street and Winona Avenue going toward the county fairgrounds.

For more information about the Beaman Home, its programs and services, visit www.thebeamanhome.com or find it on Facebook at www.facebook.com/TheBeamanHome, Twitter @Hope4DVVictims, LinkedIn or Instagram.

If you, or someone you know, is a victim of assault or abuse – there is help. Do not hesitate to contact Beaman Home’s toll free 24/7 crisis hotline at 877-725-9363.
