Gospel Sing In Pierceton On Saturday

PIERCETON — A gospel sing is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday at Free United Baptist Church.

The evening is planned as an opportunity to worship in praise and song.

The church is 4 miles south of Pierceton on Ind. 13.

Parson’s Singers At Highway To Heaven

The Parson's Singers will be at God's Highway to Heaven Church at 6 p.m. Sunday. Everyone is welcome.

Concert At Living Hope Ministries Sunday

Living Hope Ministries will host Michael Wayne Smith for a concert at 6 p.m. Sunday. Everyone is welcome.

The church is at 595 E. CR 350N, Warsaw.



Singer-Songwriter At Lakeside Service

LEESBURG — Michael Wayne Smith will be the guest musician at Leesburg United Methodist Church’s lakeside service this weekend.

Smith is a Christian singer/songwriter from Oak Ridge, Tenn. His primary interest is southern/country gospel. He has been traveling and performing since 2009. He has released six studio albums, 14 radio singles and a live concert DVD/CD.

The service begins at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Patona Bay on Tippecanoe Lake. Guests may come by boat, kayak or canoe and anchor in front of Patona Bay. Those who join the group on land should bring a chair. If it rains, the service will be moved to the boat house.

Leesburg UMC also has a service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at its building in Leesburg.



Annual Ice Cream Social Is Saturday

PIERCETON — The annual homemade ice cream social of Pierceton United Methodist Church is planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Sandwiches, pies and cakes will be served with the ice cream for a freewill offering. Everyone is welcome.

The church is at 502 N. First St., Pierceton.



Spaces Available For July 28-29 Flea Market

Warsaw Family Worship Center will have a flea market July 28-29 in church parking lot.

Spaces are available for $10 each day. Spaces are 10 x 10; vendors may may have a table and tent or sell from the trunk of their car.

Annual Camp Meeting July 28-30

CLAYPOOL — The 2017 Indiana North Church of God camp meeting will be at the YCL Ministries campground, Yellow Creek Lake, next week.

Times are 7 p.m. July 28 and 29 and 2 p.m. July 30. Conferences and family actitivies are planned July 28-29.

Speaker for the weekend is Mark Shaner, pastor of East Side Church of God, Anderson. Worship leader is Sarah Scharbrough McLaughlin from Grace Church, Noblesville.

The campground is at the junction of CRs 675W and 900S in Kosciusko County.



LeFevre Quartet At Riverview Sunday

TIPPECANOE — The LeFevre Quartet from Flowery Branch, Ga., will give a gospel concert at 6 p.m. Sunday.

The group has been named Horizon Group of The Year in the Singing News Fan Awards. In 2007, it was voted Breakout Artist of The Year in the SGN Awards, and in 2009, their song "Big Mighty God" was nominated for a Dove Award. Fans voted for the LeFevre Quartet as Favorite Quartet, Album of the Year (“But for the Cross”) and Song of the Year (“Come and See”) in the 2014 Diamond Awards.

Everyone is invited to the concert.

There is no charge for the concert; a love offering for the group will be collected.

Homecoming Sunday At Gospel Hill PCG

SILVER LAKE — A homecoming event is planned Sunday at Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God.

The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. A luncheon will follow.
