Warsaw Man Faces Intimidation Charge After Knife Incident

Kapen Lee Eherenman, 22, of 2441 W. CR 250S, #90,?was charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief Thursday.
The victim told police he went over to Eherenman’s residence to pick up his clothes for work. When the man went over there, Eherenman threatened to kill him and a pulled out a knife to threaten him, court records state.
A woman who lives at the residence got between them to prevent Eherenman from going after the man, and then Eherenman left out the back door.
The victim said when he left, he found the four tires on his truck had been slashed. A window also was broken at the victim’s residence. A neighbor who heard the glass break and saw ?Eherenman running away called the police.
An officer caught up with Eherenman, who had cuts to his hands. Eherenman told police he had punched a mailbox. The police conducted a search and found no damage to nearby mailboxes.
Eherenman is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $10,250 bond.
