 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 10:16 a.m. Wednesday – Bradley Alan Sroufe, 33, of 721 W. Jefferson St., Warsaw, arrested for corrupt business influence. Bond: $2,500.

• 11:04 a.m. Wednesday – Jeremy Duane Boyd, 32, Bronson, Mich., arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $5,250.

• 11:35 a.m. Wednesday – Erik Miller, 29, Goshen, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.

• 2:06 p.m. Wednesday – Tristen Andrew York, 19, of 4155 N. Aspen Drive, Warsaw, arrested  for theft. No bond set. 

• 3:03 p.m. Wednesday – Braxton Lee Myers, 23, of 9924 Lincoln St., Syracuse, arrested for invasion of privacy. Bond: $600.

• 3:45 p.m. Wednesday – Anatasha Marie Hemmer, 20, of 718 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw,  arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child. Bond: $1,000.

• 5:43 p.m. Wednesday – Jhouvan Latiffe Joseph, 29, Orlando, Fla., arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond: $600.

• 9:12 p.m. Wednesday – Josiah  James Shively, 32, of 201 S. Church St., Claypool, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $218.

• 11:59 p.m. Wednesday – Dakota James Michael Nelson, 19, Markle, arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond: $450.

• 1:34 a.m. today – Shawn Paul Buchanan, 39, of 9788 Excalibur Place, Cromwell, arrested for intimidation. Bond: $5,250.

• 1:59 a.m. today – Van Brady Kuhn, 23, of 1017 E. Clark St., Warsaw, arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bond: $500.

• 4:24 a.m. today – Patrick Matthew William Taylor, 31, of 1904 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, arrested for resisting law enforcement and refusing to identify himself to law enforcement. Bond: $750.



Personal Injury Accident 

• 3:30 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of U.S. 30 and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Taylor Gatchel, 20, Columbia City; Maria Duron, 56, East Pierceton Road, Winona Lake. Injury: Duron was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries to her back. Damage: $10,000 to $25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.



Property Damage Accident

• 3:56 p.m. Monday – Intersection of Argonne Road and East Jefferson Street, Warsaw.   Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Lindy Ramsey, 38, Country Club Road, Warsaw; Bryce Pequignot, 18, Lincoln Park, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. WPD.



Incidents 

• 12:19 p.m. Monday – A person reported spray paint on the back of Schoop’s Hamburgers in the 3300 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.

• 11:58 Monday – A parent reported a runway juvenile in the 500 block of West Eagle Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:46 p.m. Tuesday – A juvenile was reported stealing DVDs and other items from Wal-Mart in the 2500 block of Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. WPD. 

• 9:35 p.m. Tuesday – A person reported juveniles breaking into an abandoned garage in the 400 block of South Union Street, Warsaw. WPD. 

• 1:32 a.m. Wednesday – Police placed a person on a emergency mental detention in the 500 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 3:15 p.m. Wednesday – Police responded to a domestic battery in the 600 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 4:43 p.m. Wednesday – A person reported a theft of an iPad in the 1200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.

• 9:24 p.m. Wednesday – A Kohl’s employee reported the theft of miscellaneous merchandise in the 500 block of CR 300N, Warsaw. WPD. 

• 3:36 a.m. today – A person reported stolen fireworks from a USA Fireworks stand in the 600 block of CR 300N, Warsaw. WPD.
