He was born July 1, 1944, to Chris Allen and Sylvia Adair Kissinger in Yeager, W. Va. He spent the past 46 years in Pierceton.
He was married to Linda Hyden on July 2, 1968, in Warsaw. Together the two shared 48 years. Linda survives in Pierceton.
He had worked as a machinist for Production Technology in Fort Wayne before his 2000 retirement. He also worked for Arnold’s Corp. He loved to read the newspaper and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He also enjoyed watching the History Channel.
In addition to his wife, Linda, those who survive include his daughter, Deborah Allen, Pierceton; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Corelee Kissinger, West Virginia; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Charles Pennington, Warsaw; and several half brothers.
Those who preceded him include a brother, Donnie Kissinger, and a sister, Carmella Roberts.
A funeral service celebrating Harvey’s life will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw. The Rev. Dave Hummel will officiate, and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
