Smokers celebrating 60th anniversary

Robert and Helen Smoker will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. An open house will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Leesburg Lions building, West School Street, Leesburg.
Robert Smoker and the former Helen Everest were married on Jan. 27, 1957, at Leesburg United Methodist Church by the Rev. Warren Saunders. Bob and Helen have lived in Leesburg since 1975 and own and operate Brick Street Embroidery.
They are the parents of three children: Kathy Smoker-Bays, deceased; Brian (spouse Julie) Smoker, Leesburg; and Dave (spouse Lori) Smoker, Leesburg.
They have seven grandchildren: Shawn Smoker, Seth Smoker, Nicole (spouse Ryan Einhaus) Smoker, Sarah Carty, Carly Foreman, Hannah Carty and Dalton Smoker. They also have two beautiful great-granddaughters, Chloe Keller and Rennlee Einhaus; and one handsome great-grandson, Carson Smoker.
The couple request no gifts but would enjoy time with family and friends at the open house.
