Brooks Butler, 65, Warsaw, passed away at 8 a.m. Jan. 18, 2017, in his residence.
On March 20, 1951, he was born in Warsaw to Frank C. and Barbara Joan Norris Butler. He was united in marriage to Angie Norris on Sept. 9, 1989, in Warsaw; she survives.
He lived in Dyer until he graduated from Lake Central High School. He then moved back to Warsaw, where he worked as a tool and die maker for Zimmer Inc. for 40 years, retiring in 2010. He then worked for Tecomet, Warsaw, part time. 
He was a member of Kosko Shotgun Sports Complex, Warsaw; Harley Owners Group; ABATE, Kosciusko County; and American Legion Post 49, Warsaw. He loved trap and skeet shooting. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed working on them.
He is survived by his wife, Angie Butler, Warsaw; two sons, Brian M. (spouse Dawn) Butler, New Palestine, and Brad A. (spouse Bobbie) Butler, Warsaw; his brother, Bruce C. (spouse Jane) Butler, Warsaw; two sisters, Marcia A. Buckley, Warsaw, and Franky (spouse Peter) Voss, Muncie; and five grandchildren: Brittany, Ashley, Brianna and Austin, all of Warsaw; and Emily, New Palestine.
A memorial visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be private.
