Wednesday Night Bridge Group
The Wednesday Night Bridge group had six tables at its Jan. 11 get-together. Winners were Jack Horney, John Wagley, Bob Mayer, Charlie Ker, Joan Kizer, Tom Anderson and Virginia Horn.  
On Jan. 4, the group had seven tables playing. Winners were John Wagley, Bob Mayer, Joan Earhart, Kathy Clary, Grant Magner, Ned VerHage, David Haines and Sharon Tuttle.
John and Janet Wagley are host and hostess for January.

Hoosier Lakes Radio Club
The Hoosier Lakes Radio Club met Jan. 5 in the basement of the Justice Building for its monthly meeting. Twenty-one members were present.
Discussion of upcoming events included the annual awards banquet, which was Thursday.
The annual Winter Field Day will be Jan. 28-29 in the Marsh parking lot. The 24-hour event allows operators to practice amateur radio and emergency skills in a winter environment using only generator power. Interested individuals are welcome to stop by to watch and inquire.
Mark, AB9ZA, gave a presentation about various uses of Fldigi, a Linux-based program primarily used for digital radio. The program has several components.  
Individuals interested in learning about amateur radio and obtaining a license can take a class in February. For more information, contact Loren, WB9OST, at 574-566-2924 or email [email protected] before Feb. 1.

Four Seasons Ladies Bridge
The Four Seasons Ladies Bridge Group met Wednesday at Wyndham Garden Hotel.
Barb Calhan, Nancy Dalton, Dian Cartwright and Beth Huffer were the day’s winners.

Wyndham Garden Hotel Ladies Bridge
Two tables of the Wyndham Garden Hotel Ladies Bridge group met Thursday.
Winners were Mary Eherenman and Ann Thallemer. Sharon Tuttle was hostess.

Singles Meeting Friends
Two people missing recently from the Singles Meeting Friends group were back Wednesday. Katherine returned after being ill, while Bill was back after surgery.
The group meets at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the upstairs dining area at Martin’s Super Market. Each week’s meeting is followed by games.
