Austin D. Hauth, 85, Warsaw, passed away peacefully at 11:04 a.m. Jan. 4, 2017, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center. 
He was born May 7, 1931, in Warsaw, to Roy E. Sr. and Thelma M. Dunn Hauth. He married Patty J. Gordon on Oct. 3, 1954, in Warsaw. They were married 62 years.
He was a 1951 graduate of Warsaw High School and spent much of  his life in Kosciusko County, except for 20 years in Sebring, Fla. He moved back to Warsaw in 2008.
He was a tool and die maker at White Metal Rolling and Stamping Corp. for 28 years.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors, where he gardened, rode his bike and fished when he could. Watching old westerns was a favorite pastime.
He was a master sergeant in Warsaw’s National Guard unit from 1950 to 1954. 
Survivors include his wife, Patty J. Hauth, Warsaw; a daughter, Susan “Sue” (spouse Michael) Zellers, Warsaw; two grandchildren, Matthew Zellers, Warsaw, and Jennifer Zellers, Vandalia, Ohio; a brother, Roy F. (spouse Joellen) Hauth Jr., Winona Lake; a sister, Ruth Ann Neff, Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents; five brothers: Ernest Hauth, Sept. 22, 2013; Ralph Hauth, Sept. 8, 2008; George Hauth, March 22, 1983; William Hauth, Aug. 14, 1957; and infant John Hauth, Dec. 5, 1932; and a sister, Margaret Ann Taylor, Sept. 3, 1999.
Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with a private family graveside service.  
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is caring for the family.
