County Jail Bookings
 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 11:17 a.m. Monday – Mark Alan Howard, 47, Converse, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set. 
• 5:49 p.m. Monday – Larry Duane Potts, 36, of 496 Clinic Court, Warsaw, arrested for auto theft and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $5,250.
• 12:32 a.m. today – Dennis Wayne Johnson, 25, of 108 S. Columbia?St., Silver Lake, arrested on two counts of  resisting law enforcement, refusal to submit to a chemical test, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, and intimation. Bond: $5,250.

• midnight Sunday – Intersection of Ind. 25 and CR 250S, Warsaw. Car ran off road, hit embarkment. Driver: William Sparkman, 24, South Union Street, Warsaw. Damage: $10,000 to $25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated. 
• 3:05 a.m. Sunday – Intersection of CR 625W and West Summy Road, Leesburg. Car hit deer. Driver: Teresa Harr, 52, Old Colony Road, #30, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.

Incidents 
• 11:03 a.m. Sunday – A resident reported the theft of money from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Park Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated. 
• 3:55 p.m. Sunday – Police responded to a juvenile complaint in the 1700 block of South Packerton Road, Silver Lake. KCSD.
• 8:36 p.m. Monday – A resident reported a violation of a protection order in the 12400 block of North Elnora Drive, Syracuse. KCSD.

County Council Adopts 2025 Budget
Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.

TVHS Renovations Expected To Be ‘Substantially Complete' By Month’s End
AKRON — Work on Tippecanoe Valley High School's renovation project should be "substantially complete" by the end of October, said The Skillman Corp. Project Manager Scott Rogers.
