MILFORD — Kimberly Ruth Conrad, 61, Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly, together with her son, Stephen Thurlow Conrad II, on Dec. 25, 2016, as the result of an automobile accident. 
She was born on Jan. 22, 1955, in Joliet, Ill., to Kenneth and Ruth Webster. On June 11, 1977, she married Steve Conrad in Chicago, Ill. 
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Arts from Ball State University. She was a Delta Zeta sorority member at Eastern Illinois University, where she was also a cheerleader and gymnast. She taught as a well-loved kindergarten teacher at Syracuse Elementary for many years until her retirement. Most recently, she was working as a real estate broker. Kim enjoyed cheerleading and gymnastics and would often serve as a coach or judge. She also enjoyed waterskiing.  
She will be missed by her husband, Steve Conrad; sons, Michael (spouse Katie) Conrad and Jeffery Conrad; granddaughter, Kendall Conrad; mother, Ruth Webster; father, Kenneth Webster (Daret Matthews); brother, Doug Webster; niece, Sara Webster; sisters-in-law, Connie (spouse Jack) Spitler and Stacy (spouse Jeff) Troxel; and 15 nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Francis Conrad and Dorlas Kline; and grandparents, William and Ruth Olsen and Dallas and Francis Webster. 
A celebration of Kim's life will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Wawasee High School gymnasium, Syracuse. Pastor Tom Speicher will officiate. A private family burial will take place. 
Friends and family will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the high school gym. 
Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting with arrangements.
