Butch was born in Warsaw on Feb. 8, 1961, to Ron and Judy Anderson. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1979.
He was a career mechanic, small business owner and hall of fame race car driver who loved his family, friends and community dearly.
He was a devout husband of 33 years to Tonya Bays Boggs,  whom he loved to vacation with in the mountains of Tennessee. His proudest accomplishment was the fathering of two sons, Travis Boggs, 31, and Tyler Boggs, 27. He shared his love of dirt track racing with both sons, traveling the midwest and southeast United States, achieving much success as a driver and team owner.
Most recently, he became a grandfather of two beautiful granddaughters from oldest son Travis and wife Michelle Rudoni Boggs: Annika Michelle Boggs, 3, and Jillian Maria Boggs, 2. He was planning to attend the upcoming wedding of youngest son Tyler and fiancée Jennifer Belt in late February.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, with calling one hour prior, at the funeral chapel. A burial ceremony will follow the memorial service at Oakwood Cemetery. Pastor Glen Hall and Pastor Hedgel Perry will officiate the service.
Butch is survived by his wife, Tonya; and two sons, Travis and Tyler of Lansing, Mich., and South Bend respectively. He is also survived by four sisters: Cheryl Fouts and Kay (spouse Bill) Kelly, both of Warsaw, and Shana Leed and Jamie Hall, both of Plymouth; an uncle, James Boggs, and grandmother, Doris Boggs, both of Warsaw, along with many other extended family members.
He was preceded  by his grandfather, Fred J. Boggs, and brother-in-law Kevin Fouts.
