Morris Chapel United Methodist Church will have a Spring Fling soup supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
The supper will include chili, clam chowder, vegetable soup and chicken noodle soup. Those who attend may give a freewill offering.
The church is at 1483 N. CR 575E, Warsaw.
Chicken And Noodle Dinner Is March 3
CLAYPOOL — A chicken and noodle dinner is planned from 4 to 7 p.m. March 3 at Claypool United Methodist Church.
Cost for the meal is $8 for adults, $4 for youth ages 7-12 and free for children 6 and younger. Carry-outs will be available.
People who bring a canned item will receive 50 cents off of their meal.
Proceeds from the dinner will go to the church and its missions projects.
The church is at 302 E. Section St., Claypool.
Breakfast Benefit For Arnett Is March 4
NORTH MANCHESTER — The North Manchester Congregational Christian Church is having a breakfast buffet benefit to help the Randy Arnett family with cancer treatment costs.
The event will be from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. March 4 at the church, 310 N. Walnut St.
The buffet will feature biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage links and drinks.
Freewill donations will be accepted.
Arnett was diagnosed with prostate cancer in October 2015. The cancer has mestastisized to his spine, said his daughter Laura. His monthly treament shots help keep the cancer from spreading, but doctors told the family different treatments will be needed in the future.
Donations for the family may be sent to the Congregational Christian Church Benevolence Fund. Contact the church at 982-2882 for more information.
