County Jail Bookings
 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.
• 12:10 p.m. Monday – Tamara Joy Rutherford, 46, of 16946 CR 52, Syracuse, arrested for check deception. Bond: $139.53.
•12:28 p.m. Monday – Brandi Leigh Anderson, 31, Wolcottville, arrested for theft. Bond: $600. 
• 1:30 p.m. Monday – Jordan Alexander Scott, 25, of 5514 W. CR 500S, Claypool, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $750.
• 2:53 p.m. Monday – Karen Gail Prater, 39, of 321 S. Union St., #B, Warsaw, arrested for drug court violation. No bond set.
• 3:30 p.m. Monday – Samuel Ray Allen, 56, Knox, arrested for invasion of privacy. Bond: $1,500.
• 4:36 p.m. Monday – Vincent Joseph Santucci, 46, of 369 E. Nelson Drive, Milford, arrested on two counts of failure to appear. Bond: $10,200.
• 9:10 p.m. Monday – Mark Andrew Whitaker, 33, of 4204 Kuder Lane, Warsaw, arrested for possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of marijuana. Bond: $10,250.

• 1:32 p.m. Monday – 1200 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Taylor Goshert, 27, Shagbark Drive, Warsaw; Marjorie Boardman, 84, Harris Street, Bourbon. Damage: $750 to $1,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
• 4:23 p.m. Monday – Intersection of North Detroit and East Main streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Matthew Yoder, 18, Middlebury; Peter Lucht, 33, South Southwood Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated. 
• 9:45 p.m. Monday – Intersection of Ind. 13 and CR 800S, Pierceton. Car hit deer. Driver: Christian Jacobs, Pike Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
