Farrell “Butch” Eugene Stout, 75, Warsaw, died Feb. 19, 2017, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center.
He was born March 17, 1941 in Yorktown, to Farrell and Katherine Warner Stout.
On March 16, 1962, in Anderson, he married Myrna Richman.
He was retired from General Motors where he worked for more than 30 years.
He spent most of his life in Yorktown and Delaware County before moving to Warsaw in 2011. He enjoyed fishing and hunting mushrooms. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Muncie, and was a AWANA leader for more than 20 years. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with family, friends and neighbors.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorrie (spouse Deb) Stout, Warsaw; a son, Dennis Stout, Brownsburg; grandchildren, Ashley (spouse Chris) VanDurmen and Megan Gunter, both of Warsaw; Emily (spouse Chris) Janda, Pleasant Grove, Utah; Alison (spouse Justin) Reynolds and Danielle Meyer, both of Fort Wayne; great-grandchildren, Jacoby and Elise VanDurmen; MaryJane and Silas Reynolds; Eden and Alice Janda; a sister, Carolyn (spouse Ray) Buck, Gaston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, father and mother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Holiday Inn, 5915 Ellison Road, Fort Wayne. Pastor Glenn Hall of Harvest Community Church will officiate.
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
