• 3:53 a.m. Saturday – Daniel Hugo Duenas, 18, of 2326 E. Pierceton Road, Winona Lake, arrested for voluntary manslaughter. No bond set. 
• 3:56 a.m. Saturday – Jarred Miller, 19, of 521 N. Colfax St., Warsaw, arrested for resisting law enforcement and robbery. No bond set. 
• 4:58 p.m. Saturday – Jeromie Lee Bright, 37, of 804 N. Mill St., Syracuse, arrested for battery with a deadly weapon. Bond: $11,000.
• 6:12 p.m. Saturday – Coy Robert Walker, 27, New Paris, arrested on three counts of failure to appear. Bond: $25,000. 
• 11:13 p.m. Saturday – Christopher Allen Winterrowd, 44, of 606 W. Harrison St., Mentone, arrested for disorderly conduct, intimidation, battery, criminal trespass and domestic battery in the presence of a child. Bond: $6,000. 
• 1:22 a.m. Sunday – Alyssa Lyn Smith, 22, Lakeville, arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $600.
• 2:20 a.m. Sunday – Anna Marie King, 29, South Bend, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $214.
• 2:35 a.m. Sunday – Roy Lee Skeens, 32, of 10790 N. Ogden Road, North Manchester, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set. 
• 3:53 a.m. Sunday – Blakley Matthew Jones. 33, of 305 E. Prairie St.,  Leesburg, arrested on a civil warrant, theft and burglary of a dwelling. $1,200. 
• 6:08 p.m. Sunday – William Lewis Vining, 35, of 504 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, arrested for battery with a bodily injury to law enfrocement. Bond: $10,250. 
• 6:46 p.m. Sunday – Dustin Lee Smith, 22, Angola, arrested for theft. Bond: $600. 
• 9:10 p.m. Saturday – Austin Samual Wood, 19, of 305 Ulrich Drive, Milford, arrested for corrupt business influence. No bond set.
• 11:23 p.m. Saturday – Rebecca Lyn Doty, 33, of 203 E. Smith St., Milford, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.
• 4:22 a.m. today – Daniel Scott Vanderpool, 54, of 2204 Dubois Drive, Warsaw, arrested for criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. Bond: $5,250.

 • 3:51 a.m. Saturday – Intersection of  CRs 1350N and 500W, Nappanee. Single-vehicle rollover. Driver: Loren Lehmann, 21, Ligonier. Injury: Lehmann was transported to a hospital with an head injury. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated. 
• 4:41 p.m. Saturday – Intersection of North Detroit Street and Gilliam Drive,?Warsaw. Driver: Cayetano Malagon, 26, Wilcox Road, Warsaw. Injury: Malagon had cuts to his head but refused medical treatment. Damage; $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 12:04 a.m. Sunday – Intersection of U.S. 30 and East VanNess Road, Warsaw. Car ran into a ditch. Driver: Joseph Karanija, 64, South Bend. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.
• 1:23 a.m. Sunday – Intersection of East Armstrong Road and CR 200E, Leesburg. Driver: Kimbert Crafton, 31, Stonewall Court, Nappanee. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD. 
• 2:04 a.m. Sunday – Intersection of Lake City Highway and Old 30, Warsaw. Hit-skip. Driver remaining: B.E. Banks, 58, Columbia City. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.

• 6:22 p.m. Sunday ­– Intersection of Lake City Highway and Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Theodore Harrell, 54, West Market?Street, Warsaw; Jonathan Pond, 38, Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
• 7:42 p.m. Sunday – Intersection of Ind. 13 and CR 125E, Pierceton. Car hit deer. Driver: Richard Glick, 73, East Market?Street,  South Whitley. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. WPD.

• 8:04 a.m. Saturday – Police investigated an accidental shooting in the 2200 block of Dubois Drive, Warsaw. WPD. 
• 4:44 a.m. Sunday– Damage was reported to playground equipment at Claypool Elementary in the 2000 block of CR 700S, Claypool. KCSD. 
• 2:19 a.m. Sunday – A lost ID card was turned into police in the 500 block of North Tamarack Street, Warsaw. WPD.
• 3 p.m. Sunday – A lost bicycle was turned into police in the 1500 block of Maye Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
