He was born March 18, 1938, in Wabash, to Everett and Grace Maidford Kline.
He was a retired foreman for the Wabash County Highway Department.
He attended Silver Creek Church of God, Silver Lake.
He loved horses, motorcycles and small engine repair. He was a woodworking hobbyist and loved his dogs, camping, fishing and the outdoors. He was an avid coffee lover, he liked it black!
Surviving are two sons, Michael Kline, North Manchester, and Billy (spouse Julie) Kline, Warsaw; five daughters: Vicki Hohos, Crown Pointe; Karen (spouse Greg) Brown, Rochester; Cammy Whitaker, Warsaw; Becky (spouse Brian) Laupp, Walton, Ky.; Tracy Trout, North Manchester; a brother, Don (spouse Suzi) Kline, North Manchester; two sisters, Marilyn (spouse Larry) Vetor, North Manchester, and Helen Jackson, Servia; 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and an extended family of 10.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Carolyn Helton.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester, with the Rev. Andrew Morton officiating. Burial will be in South Pleasant Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
