Wednesday Night Bridge Group
The Wednesday Night Bridge Group had six tables at its Feb. 15 get-together.
Winners were Joan Earhart, Virginia Horn, Nancy Dalton, Sharon Tuttle, Mike Herring, Andy Overmyer and Connie Ker.
John and Janet Wagley are host and hostess for February.
Four Seasons Ladies Bridge
Wyndham Garden Hotel was the location of the Four Seasons Ladies Bridge Group meeting this week.
Winners were Nanette Newland, Peg Zimmerman and Maxine Harris.
Wyndham Garden Hotel Ladies Bridge
Two tables met Thursday for the meeting of the Wyndham Garden Hotel Ladies Bridge group.
Winners were Joan Kizer and Ann Thallemer. Joyce Latta was hostess.
Alpha Lambda Chapter Of Tri Kappa
The Alpha Lambda chapter of Tri Kappa is having its annual Sweets and Treats Bingo event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 23.
Doors open at 6 p.m. at Vitale Events, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw. Tickets are $25. All guests must be 18 or older to play.
Sweet treats and beverages will be provided, and local businesses have donated many prizes.
All proceeds of the Sweets and Treats Bingo event will support Tri Kappa’s mission of enriching charity, culture and education in the community. Last year the group awarded over $11,000 to area college-bound youth.

Altrusa International
Altrusa International of Warsaw met Thursday evening, at Richards Restaurant. Discussions centered on upcoming projects and events.
Plans were finalized for the club’s spring bazaar featuring crafts and one-of-a-kind gifts, just in time for Easter and Mother’s Day. The bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 4 at Vitale Events, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw. Admission is free and food will be available. Vendors may request applications by emailing [email protected].
Club members are also making final preparations to co-host the Altrusa International District Six Conference April 7-9 at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth. Local members are responsible for activities at the Friday evening welcome buffet and have prepared decorations and favors for members attending from throughout Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. Members will kick off Altrusa International’s 100th anniversary at the conference.
In addition, members are busy preparing for their monthly meal for children at Baker Youth Center and the annual Grace College Mentors for Kids banquet. Planning has also begun for the Bingo for Beaman Home event scheduled Oct. 19.
Club members Martie Lennane, Jeanine Knowles and Vicki Martin celebrated Valentine’s Day with their adopt-a-class at Lincoln School. They played sight word bingo with the children and provided each child with a bag of valentine goodies. Special gifts were also given to the teacher, Linda Jacko.
Altrusa of Warsaw is part of an international nonprofit organization working to make local communities better through leadership partnership and service. The local club has served the Kosciusko County area since 1973 and founded the Beaman Home and CASA.

Singles Meeting Friends
Wednesday’s meeting of Singles Meeting Friends featured good conversation and the discussion of news.
Rex’s family brought him to the meeting to visit. He is recovering from a stroke. Group members who want to visit him today should contact Donna.
Mary goes home from Grace Rehabilitation Center today.
The group meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Martin’s.
