He was born Dec. 2, 1950, in Anniston, Ala., to Columbus and Bertha Lecroy Reeves. On Sept. 20, 1971, in Belle County Texas, he married Barbara B. Swanson, who survives.
He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and continued his service as a U.S Army National Guard recruiter for the Warsaw office, retiring in 1995.
A celebration of his life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home.
Military rites will be conducted by the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honors Team. Interment will be in Athens Hoover Cemetery.
