 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail. 
•10:57 p.m. Friday – Justin Miller, 30, of 9020 S. Smalley Lane, Claypool, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.
• 2:40 p.m. Saturday – Bernie Joe Montileaux, 36, of 316C S. Lake St., #C, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $828.
• 4:21 p.m. Saturday – Whitney Leighann Schawb, 26, of 406 Turkey Creek Drive, Milford, arrested for criminal recklessness. Bond: $400.
• 12:57 p.m. Saturday – Kaleb Brandon Green, 21, of 204 W. Prairie St., Leesburg, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.
• 7:45 p.m. Saturday – Matthew Phillip Trammel, 31, of 4945 N. CR 2OOE, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.
• 9:14 p.m. Saturday – Sheri Lynn Pierce Shuster, 46, of 824 E. CR 800S, Claypool, arrested on a civil warrant. Bond: $686.29.
 • 9:20 p.m. Saturday – James Chester?Shuster, 24, of 677 Walter Way, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $500.
• 11:33 p.m. Saturday – Kayla Lynn Brown, 25, of 4444 E. CR 1300N, Syracuse, arrested for battery on law enforcement, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, disorderly conduct, refusal to submit to a chemical test and resisting law enforcement. Bond: $5,250.
• 11:49 p.m. Saturday – Kyle William Hamman, 18, of 4416 W. CR 525S, Claypool, arrested for false informing. Bond: $500. 
• 12:20 a.m. Sunday – Jacob Michael Makinson, 33, of 212C S. Union St., Warsaw, arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Bond: $5,250. 
• 1:52 a.m. today – Danny Bruce Kirby, 45, Garrett, arrested for arson. Bond: $15,250.

Personal Injury Accident
• 8:41 p.m. Sunday – Intersection of Ind. 14 and CR 200W,?Silver Lake. Car went into ditch. Driver: Shawn Carlson, 20, Silver Lake. Injury: Carlson was treated at the scene for pain to his neck and minor bleeding. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko?County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 4:09 a.m. Saturday – Intersection of South County?Farm Road and CR 450S, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Nathan Kinney, 23, Crescent Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated. 
• 2:35 p.m. Saturday – Intersection of Turkey Creek and Ind. 15, Milford. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Whitney Schwab, 26, Turkey Creek Drive, Milford; Michael Mench, 34, Turkey?Creek Drive, Milford. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Milford Police Department investigated.
• 11:02 a.m. Sunday – Intersection of Old 15 and CR 1300N, Milford. Car drove into a ditch. Driver: Raul Rodriguez, 45, CR 250E, Milford. Damage: $750 to $1,000. MPD.

•10:53 p.m. Saturday – A Walmart employee reported theft of trading cards in the 2500 block of Walton Boulevard,?Warsaw. WPD. 
• 1:08 p.m. Saturday – Police responded to a report of a theft in the 3100 block of East Wooster Road, Pierceton. KCSD. 
• 6:46 p.m. Saturday – A resident reported the theft of a laptop in the 1600 block of Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw. 
• 1:11 a.m. Sunday – Police responded to a report of violation of a protective order in the 200 block of West Section Street, Claypool. Claypool Police Department investigated.
