Center Street Community Theater will host “Off the Wagon: A Night of Unpredictable Comedy” at 7:30 p.m. March 11 at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.
The event will showcase a variety of talented Kosciusko County residents through sketch comedy, improvisation and more, according to a news release from the Wagon Wheel. The show also feature special appearances from local members of the community including former star of ABC’s “The Bachelor” Ben Higgins, Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer, Kosciusko Community Foundation Executive Director Suzie Light and the Wagon Wheel’s own Mike Yocum.
Other cast members will include actors and artists from past CSCT productions, as well as members of the adult improv classes offered by the organization, which was launched as an initiative to get adults in the community involved in theater.
The show will be a mash-up of sketch comedy, similar to what might be seen on “Saturday Night Live,” improvisational comedy and comedic games. The show will also feature a fully improvised murder mystery, the release states.
Organizers of the event plan to make it a night of laughs celebrating Warsaw and the surrounding Kosciusko community.
Tickets for the show are $10, and can be purchased online at wagonwheelcenter.org, over the phone at 574-267-8041, or in person at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts box office.
