NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TARGET AREA AND PUBLIC  HEARING ON SUCH DESIGNATION
    Notice is hereby given that on February 6, 2017, the Common Council of the City of Warsaw, Indiana adopted Economic Development Target Area Declaratory Resolution No. 2017-02-01, which Resolution provides in substance as follows:
    Whereas the real estate located at 401 and 425 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana, as more fully described in the Resolution  ("Real Estate") has become undesirable for, or impossible of, normal development  and occupancy, and the improvement of the Real Estate would benefit and would promote the welfare of all citizens and taxpayers in Warsaw, Indiana, the Warsaw Common Council found, declared, and designated the Real Estate to be an economic development target area as defined in Ind. Code § 6-1.1-12.1-7  ("EDTA"). The Warsaw Common Council also declared that deductions for five (5) years for new real estate improvements  installed in the EDTA would be granted for qualified projects.
    A description of the affected area is available and can be inspected in the Warsaw Planning Office.
    The Warsaw Common Council also found that it should approve the Statement of Benefits filed by Freedom Oil, LLC for qualified projects located on the Real Estate for such 5- year abatement deductions.
    Whereas, the Warsaw Common Council resolved to hold a public hearing to consider    Freedom Oil, LLC's request for the adoption of a Confirmatory  Resolution.
    A public hearing on these matters will be held by the Warsaw Common Council on February 21,2017, at 7:00 o'clock  p.m. in the Council Chambers, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.  At this hearing, the Warsaw Council will (1) receive and hear all remonstrance and objections from interested person, (2) shall take final action determining  whether the qualifications for an economic development  target area have been met and confirming,  modifying and confirming, or rescinding the Resolution, after considering the evidence, and (3) shall take final action on the Statement of Benefits.
 Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Warsaw, should contact the office of Jeremy Skinner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, IN 46580/phone (574) 372-9550, as soon as possible but no later than forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled event.
