 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail. 
• 3:09 a.m. Wednesday – Kevin Eugene Ackerman, 50, Ligonier, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.
• 8:44 a.m. Wednesday – Ryan James Prater, 29, of 653 Heritage Lane, Warsaw, arrested for bond revocation. No bond set. 
• 11:52 a.m. Wednesday – Jadennie Erika Minks, 19, Rochester, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set. 
• 1:36 p.m. Wednesday – Michael Darren Miller, 20, of 11314 N. East Wawasee Drive, Syracuse, arrested for residental entry. Bond: $10,250. 
• 3:01 p.m. Wednesday – Joseph Allan Mason, 32, Fort Wayne, arrested for driving while classified as a habitual traffic violator. No bond set.
• 3:18 p.m. Wednesday – Bar Se, 24, Fort Wayne, arrested for public intoxicated. No bond set.
• 6:23 p.m. Wednesday – Seth Aaron?Allen, 27, of 939 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child. Bond: $6,000.
• 11:15 p.m. Wednesday – Ethan David Jessie, 26, of 4547 E. Fox Run Drive,?Syracuse, arrested for criminal trespass and resisting law enforcement. Bond $750.

• 9:31 a.m. Wednesday – 206 W. Market St., Warsaw. Car hit building.  Driver: Rita Simpson, 74, East Main Street, Mentone. Damage: $25,000 to $50,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 11:53 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of West Winona Avenue and Austin Drive, Warsaw. Car hit utility pole. Driver: Glenn Helser, 3003 Glad Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.
• 3:20 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of North Detroit and Lyon streets, Warsaw. Hit-skip. Driver remaining: Kimberly Ellis, 59, Bruner Road, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.
• 7:03 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Ross and Springhill roads, Warsaw. Car hit parked car registered to Carol Heimann, Duncan Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Karie Hepler, 44, Robb Road, Warsaw. WPD.

Incidents
• 5:09 p.m.Tuesday – A resident reported a theft of a truck tailgate at Best Deal Auto Sales in the 2900 block of U.S. 30, Warsaw. WPD.
• 11:10 p.m. Tuesday – A resident reported a theft in the 3600 block of Commerce Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
