WABASH — The Frances Slocum chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Grandstaff Hentgen Activity Room, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
Sam Daughtery, Wabash County Veterans officer, will speak on “Veterans Services.” Daughtery retired as a master sergeant with the United States Air Force. Prospective members and guests are welcome to attend.
DAR membership is open to any woman 18 or older who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution. Those having questions about their family history lineage information may contact www.dar.org, Linda Thompson at 260-563-4661 or Barbara Amiss at 260-982-4376.
Four Seasons Ladies Bridge
WINONA LAKE — Four Seasons Ladies Bridge group met Wednesday at Grace Village.
Winners were Dorothy Sweeney, Becky Girard, Sharon Holtz and Nondas Joyner. Sweeney was the hostess.
