He was born July 4, 1930, in Chicago, Ill., to Nellie Marie Holton Brady and Arthur Lawrence Brady. On Jan. 21, 1956, he was married to Christie Ann Johnson, who survives.
Maurice enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1947 and was honorably discharged in 1950. He worked as a telephone technician for Illinois Bell for 38 years and retired in 1989. He enjoyed snowmobiling and camping, but most of all he loved his family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Christie Ann Brady, Warsaw; and three daughters: Carol (Jim) Ross, Crystal Lake, Ill.; Donna (Rick) Kay, Wonder Lake, Ill.; and Linda (Steve) Divine, Winona Lake. He also leaves behind his beloved six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Arthur Brady.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
