Christmas Eve Activities In Claypool

CLAYPOOL — The Claypool United Methodist Church invites the public to its Christmas Eve celebrations on Sunday.

The day begins with Sunday school at 9 a.m.

A Christmas-focused worship service will follow at 10:20 a.m.

A special “What’s Christmas All About” discussion is planned for 3 p.m. This informal discussion is designed for those who have little experience with church or for those who are skeptical about a “virgin birth.” It will be led by Pastor Mike Settles.

The church’s celebration of Christmas will conclude with a candlelight service at 4:30 p.m. It will include the telling of the Christmas story with traditional readings and hymns.

Claypool United Methodist Church is at 302 E. Section St., Claypool.



Christmas Cafe, Candlelight Service Sunday

WINONA LAKE — Winona Lake Free Methodist Church invites the community to two services on Christmas Eve.

The 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday will follow coffee and cookies in the Christmas Cafe from 10 to 10:20 a.m.

The church’s traditional Christmas Eve candlelight service begins at 7 p.m. Sunday.

The church is at 902 College Ave., Winona Lake. Parking and a handicapped-accessible entrance are on the east side of the church.

BEAVER DAM — Beaver Dam United Methodist Church will have its Christmas Sunday worship service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

A Christmas Eve candlelight service is planned for 6 p.m. Sunday.

Everyone is invited to both services.
