Dorothy Eloise Brake, 93, Silver Lake, passed away at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at her residence.

She was born May 6, 1924, in Huntington, to William F. and Alberta T. Reynolds Jones.

She grew up in Huntington, graduated in 1941 from Huntington High School, and lived a short time in Columbia City before moving to Silver Lake in 1957. She was married to Edward H. “Ed” Kneller, who preceded her in 1993.

She retired from General Electric, Fort Wayne, after 18 years and was formerly employed at Playtime, Warsaw, and Steer Inn, Silver Lake.

She was a member of Eberhard Lutheran Church, Columbia City. She was an avid bowler and loved to paint and play the organ.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Tim) Johnson, Pierceton; two sons, Marc (Teresa) Kneller, Silver Lake, and David (Jane) Kneller, Silver Lake; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy (Rich) Nekola, Crown Point, and Phyllis Fisher, Huntington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gary Kneller; sister, Patricia Whitted; and brother, William Jones.

There will be no services or visitation and cremation will take place. Burial will take place at a later date.

Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
