He was born June 15, 1927, in Alexandria, to Jake and Hazel Heflin Ault. He married Marilyn Virginia Bouse in Warsaw on Nov. 2, 1947. She survives.
He graduated from Claypool High School and served with the United States Marine Corps.
No formal services are planned. Burial will be at a later date.
