Lady Lancers Pick Up All-American Honors

Abby Schue concluded her remarkable career as a First Team All-American from the NCCAA and the United Soccer Coaches, and Hannah Tkacz and Allison Vroon both received NCCAA Second Team All-American status.
Schue graduates as the best goalkeeper in school history. She recorded seven shutouts and a career-high 112 saves this season. Against No. 21 Kansas Wesleyan, Schue made five saves in a 1-0 upset victory for Grace.
Vroon had a career-best seven points for Grace. The junior had two goals and three assists. Both of her goals were game winners. She scored in the 80th minute to beat Huntington and also had a game winner against Goshen in Crossroads League play.
Tkacz was a solid central defender for Grace. She made 17 starts, helping Grace to seven shutouts on the season. Tkacz even scored a goal for the Lady Lancers, securing a tie with a 76th minute goal against Cincinnati Christian.
Additionally, Grace had nine Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes which marked the third-most in the NAIA. Schue, Vroon, Flavia Faria, Aubrey Feipel, Shelby Fort, Emma Neahusan, Sabina Meyers, Carlie Salinas and Clair Snodgrass all received Scholar-Athlete status.
