BOURBON — Glenn R. Smith, 71, Tippecanoe, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, in Catherine Kasper Life Care, Donaldson.

Glenn was born Sept. 5, 1946, the son of Royce W. Smith and Catherine P. Smith in Muncie.

He and his wife attended Grace Fellowship Church, Tippecanoe. Glenn retired from NISCO, Bremen, as a supervisor.

On Aug. 30, 1986, he married Donna Peterson. She survives, along with several grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Dawn Ewing and his brother.

Glenn served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War and also served in the Desert Storm conflict. He retired from the United States Army after serving nearly 26 years. He also enjoyed watching movies, working outside and making Christmas lights. Glenn was Santa Claus at Tippecanoe, the Moose Lodge and at Doctors Hospital of Bremen.

No services are planned at this time.
