By Staff Report-
Angel of Hope was begun to help individuals and families who are:
• Striving to attain goals to improve their lives through the Pathway of Hope program.
• Facing crisis because of health issues, fire and disaster.
• Veterans who need assistance.
• Single parents or grandparents raising children on a low or fixed income who struggle to make ends meet.
The Angel of Hope outreach gives to families all year, not just at Christmas. Recipients are given a storage container with new items such as towels, dishcloths, socks, underwear, toothbrushes, books, toys and throws. Financial donations are used to purchase the containers, soap, toothpaste and shampoo, etc.
An Angel of Hope tree for collecting items is set up at Warsaw Community Public Library, 310 E. Main St., Warsaw. Items will be collected until Dec. 15, or donations may be dropped off at The Salvation Army, 501 E. Arthur St., Warsaw.
