 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 12:30 p.m. Friday – Isaiah David Richter, 21, of 8591 N. Harper Road, Leesburg, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 12:32 p.m. Friday – Darian Lee Arnold, 22, Wakarusa, arrested for battery. Bond: $600.

• 2:12 p.m. Friday – Tony James Lewis, 23, Elkhart, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $416.

• 2:34 p.m. Friday – Phillip Wolfe, 24, Elkhart, arrested for failure to  pay. Bond: $756.

• 3:04 p.m. Friday – Amy Kay Burner, 44, Osceola, arrested for failure to pay. Bond: $641.

• 3:28 p.m. Friday – Joshua Allen Bummel, 35, of 3456 CR 100S, #15, Warsaw, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $5,000. 

• 5:20 p.m. Friday – Jonathan Dale Zehr, 25, Loogootee, arrested for invasion of privacy. Bond: $600.

• 6:10 p.m. Friday – Jaclyne Jean Waikel, 32, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, #178, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $5,750.



Personal Injury Accident

• 10:44 a.m. Friday – Intersection of Main and Syracuse streets, Milford. Two-vehicle collison. Drivers: Robert Nichter, 40,  Old 15, Warsaw; Leon Garrett, 72, James Street, Milford. Injury: Garrett was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital; Kevin Kennedy, 50, James Street, Milford, a passenger in Garrett’s truck, was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Damage: $25,000 to $50,000. Milford Police Department investigated. 



Property Damage Accidents

• 12:47 a.m. Friday – Intersection of Ind. 19 and CR 900N, Etna Green. Car hit deer. Driver: Sara Snyder, 31, Liberty Avenue, Bourbon. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated. 

• 2:43 p.m. Friday – 302 W. Market St., Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision.Drivers: Elizabeth Kapp, 37, Rochester; Flavio Menedez, 40, CR 500W, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
